Title:
Able to leap tall buildings Pairing: toonverse Clark/Tim (Superman/Robin II) Rating: Not explicit; content some readers may find disturbing. Notes: For Todd. "Faster than a speeding bullet, huh?" "I'm not the only one who can claim that," Clark says, and traces the newest bruise on Tim's side. "You dodged this one." "Mostly," Tim says, "but Kevlar did the rest." He doesn't have to wince. Clark's good like that. Probably it's microscopic vision to find the edges of the bruise or something like that. Whatever it is, it works. Clark sighs slightly. "I worry." Tim grins at him. "'course you do. But it's okay." "Except when it isn't, and I find out you've got new bruises, again." Tim shrugs. "You're worse than Alfred. At least he knows it's part of the job." Clark runs his fingers through Tim's hair. "I know it is, but it seems like a shame." "I'm fine." Tim tips his head back and Clark takes the hint, kissing him warm and strong and perfect -- just like Superman should kiss. "Besides, if I wasn't Robin, I wouldn't know you." "And we'd both be safer." Tim sticks his hand down Clark's tights. "And lonelier." Clark shudders hard -- more powerful than a locomotive, right. "Yes. That too." |
